The biggest ever project in the history of Malayalam cinema, 'Pazhassi Raja', being made at a cost of Rs 25 crore is running in packed audience. The film on the warrior prince Pazhassi Raja, who was one of the first Indian freedom fighters, is being directed by Hariharan and written by MT Vasudevan Nair. Mammootty plays the title role.The film has been in the making for a couple of years. Some hot shots of Kanika too makes the film great.
This is the first time a yesteryear Malayalam film is being remade.
Neela Thamara was earlier directed by Yusaf Ali Kechery in 1979.

M.T has written some of the finest scripts in Malayalam for movies including Nakhakshthangal (1986), Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha (1989), Sargam (1992), Sadayam (1992), Parinayam (1994) and Ennu Swantham Janakikutty (1998).
Malayalam Cinema Neelathamara Movie Photos are very attractive , with the heroine Archana wearing mundu and blouse which was the symbol of early kerala tradition before sarees came.
